1. Your staff can prompt customers to enter their mobile#.
2. Your staff can also enter customer’s mobile phone#s with their verbal permission over phone or in person. 

In either case, customers must acknowledge a text message they receive on their phone to confirm the subscription. They just have to reply to that message with "Y" or "YES". Only after they confirm, they are considered a subscriber. They can unsubscribe at any time by sending STOP message.
